How does Wrinkle Reduction work?
Wrinkle treatments at Face and Body Inc (formally known as Anti-Wrinkle), can be used to relax specific facial muscles to treat ‘dynamic’ wrinkles, the lines caused by repetitive facial movements.
Once the muscles are relaxed, you cannot contract them and continue to make undesirable facial movements. They are an effective preventative treatment, as well as gradually smoothing existing facial wrinkles.
Why Can’t We Use Terms Such As ‘Wrinkle Relaxers’?
Due to strict TGA & AHPRA advertising guidelines, we are unable to display cosmetic treatments & prices. This includes the use of terminology such as: wrinkle relaxers, anti wrinkle, anti wrinkle injections, brotox, lip flip, brow lift, crowns feet, frown, forehead, jawline slimming, masseter reduction…

When will I see results?
Following your treatment, results may become visible within 2-5 days, with full results taking up to 10-14 days to become apparent. The recommended dose will vary depending on individual muscle strength and severity of lines.
How long do the effects last?
The effects generally last between 3 to 4 months and gradually decrease over time. Regular treatments may improve the longevity of treatment effects, and reduce static lines.
It is important to note, longevity can vary person to person, it can be impacted by factors such as; lifestyle, metabolism, illness etc.
Downtime & Post-Treatment
Post-Treatment
The post-treatment experience is different for everyone. Following your treatment, results may become visible within 2-5 days, with full results taking up to 10-14 days to become apparent.
Please note: sometimes particular areas will respond quicker than others. We recommend a review appointment 2 weeks post-treatment.
Downtime:
+ Exercise or excessive sweating (saunas, steam rooms etc.) for 24-48 hours.
+ Wearing make-up for 24hours.
+ Direct UV exposure.
+ Lying down or sleeping for 4hours post-treatment.
+ Refrain from rubbing or massaging the treated area for 48 hours.
+ Tight or firm prolonged pressure of the treated area (for example avoid wearing a helmet that fits tightly on the treatment area).
+ No facial treatments for 2 weeks post-treatment (for example facials, waxing, laser).
