Rejuran is a concentrated injectable polynucleotide that is extracted from wild salmon sperm DNA. Polynucleotides are long chains of amino acids found naturally in the skin, where they play important roles in skin remodelling at cellular level.

The polynucleotides in REJURAN® provide the building blocks that boost collagen and elastin production in the skin. These are proteins that help maintain skin structure and elasticity.

By delivering the polynucleotides directly into the skin, REJURAN® stimulates the cells that produce collagen, boosting skin hydration, treating fine lines, wrinkles, pores and textural changes, and reducing scarring, including acne scarring. 

Currently, three Rejuran products are available in Australia: Rejuran Classic, Rejuran Eye and Rejuran Scars. Each product contains the same active ingredient, polynucleotide, but varies in viscosity.

+ Rejuran Classic | is designed for comprehensive facial rejuvenation, helping to improve fine lines, skin texture, tone, and reduce the visible effects of aging and sun damage.

+ Rejuran Eye | is a lower viscosity option tailored for delicate areas, such as the skin around the eyes, to address crepiness, wrinkles, and dark circles.

+ Rejuran Scars | is a higher viscosity formula specifically targeted to improve the appearance of scars and acne marks

Like all biostimulation treatments, the effects may vary person-to-person, By completing a full treatment course, with multiple sessions, results can typically last up to 12 months. If you want to maintain these results and keep delaying the signs of aging, we recommend having a course of treatments each year. 

REJURAN Treatment Course: 3 sessions, spaced 2-4 weeks apart.

The number of treatments required varies person-to-person, however as a guide we say, optimum results are achieved:

Face / Neck | 2-3 syringes – 2-3 Treatments

Eyes | 1 syringe – 2-3 Treatments

Scars | 1 syringe – 2-3 Treatments

Treatments should be 2-4 weeks apart.

Post-Treatment 

The post-procedure experience is different for everyone, swelling and bruising is common for most when getting any injectable treatment. Some individuals swell and bruise more than others. Lumps and bumps can also be common, these lumps will often soften out over time, so don’t be alarmed if you experience this. 

Allow up to 7 days post-treatment for your Rejuran treatment to settle.

We recommend a complimentary review appointment 2 weeks post-treatment. 

Downtime:

+ Exercise or excessive sweating (saunas, steam rooms etc.) for 24-48 hours.

+ Wearing make-up for 24hours.

+ Direct UV exposure.

+ Consuming alcohol in the first 24 hours (to avoid thinning the blood).

+ Do not use AHAs, BHAs, Retinol, or Vitamin C for 24 hours.

+ No facial treatments for 2 weeks post-treatment (for example facials, waxing, laser).
